HISTORY

TERRITORY

Biodiversity management in vineyards has a positive impact on the crop. We believe in biodiversity by supporting different agro-systems. The tradition of our Prosecco Superiore DOCG meets the innovation of “PIWI wines”, a grape variety highly resistance to fungal diseases and that allow a significant reduction in using pesticides.
Sustainability practices are part of our daily work both in the vineyard and winery.

Colle Regina was established in the heart of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG area, a unique landscape and Unesco World Heritage territory since 2019 just an hour from the charming lagoon city of Venice. Surrounded by the green rolling hills of Farra di Soligo (Treviso province), the winery got its name from the homonymous hill historically called “Colle della Regina (Queen hill)”, where it's based. Our vineyards grow among the villages of Col San Martino, Farra di Soligo and Collalto, where our family tradition, grape production vocation and passion come from. A land where viticulture is love for this exceptional territory, rich in history, usages and love.
Our mission is to support our land through biodiversity, preserving the autochthonous border hedges around the vineyards and the old wood, ensuring a great natural defence. Moreover, the Glera grape cultivation with resistant varieties follow one another. From growing to harvesting, from grapes selection to vinification our end purpose is to do a great natural job producing wines with a distinctive quality.

UNESCO WORLD

HERITAGE LAND

Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG is harvested among the hills between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano municipality, nowadays a UNESCO certified territory. This area has a long-standing history. It was first considered back in the tertiary era and the resulting soil consists of a conglomerate of rocks and sand containing a lot of clay and sometimes rich in iron oxides. The combination of this particular soil with different shaped hills, together with a typical mild climate (sun exposure and constant breeze) give unique organoleptic features to our Prosecco Docg.
